South Florida Fair Fun!:

Every year I look forward to my South Florida Fair photo shoot sessions! These photography sessions are always a blast for kids and parents too. The colorful carnival games, rides, and fair food become the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable family photo shoot.

I was so excited when my friend Margo told me she wanted to book a fair photo shoot. She’d seen the images from fair sessions I’d done in previous years and had always hoped to one day do one with her own family. I have worked with this beautiful family on many occasions in the past and couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to work with them again!

Consult:

We started off with a consult in their home. First we discussed what they were looking for in the way of products and wall art for their home. We then moved on to discuss wardrobe. We wanted the outfits for the sessions to work well with the South Florida County Fair colors and also have a vintage vibe. Mom had the most perfect pink and black polka dot dress! From there we searched through everyones closets and pulled together the super fun coordinated outfits you see below.

Photo session arrives:

Finally our scheduled session date arrived! Fair sessions are a bit longer than typical family sessions as I allow for plenty of time to walk around to the various locations in the park. What a perfect day! We had such fun playing games, eating popcorn and cotton candy, and my personal favorite- fresh squeezed lemonade. No forced smiles in these pics, the kids were truly having the best time!

Some of my favorite shots from this session are the family all sitting on stools in front of a colorful game, everyone eating cotton candy, mom looking so loving at her girls telling secrets, ummmm really I think all, lol. This was a hard session to narrow down that’s for sure. I hope you all enjoy looking through the photos below as much as I enjoyed working on them!
