I love being a smash cake photographer in Delray Beach. I mean just look at how sweet this nautical themed birthday cake smash turned out. Isn’t this little man just adorable!!!

There is so much planning that goes into a cake smash session. Once a client books their sessions we begin to discuss all the details. Mom loved the idea of a nautical themed Boca Raton cake smash. And I loved creating the boats, waves, and flags for this photo shoot. Yup I hand make all the cake smash backgrounds you see. Once the theme is set I help parents choose the outfits for their baby. I welcome photos and links to outfits and I’m always happy to give my input. I want everything to be just right. The next step is the custom cake. I work with wonderful and talented cake artists who customize each cake to match the sessions colors and or theme.

Cake smash sessions begin with pictures of baby using a couple of cute props. We then move onto the actual cake smash which Naomi will custom design after discussing the themed details with her client. This will include a customized backdrop and cake. Following the cake smash baby will have the opportunity to splash around in a vintage tub for a few additional shots.
