Capturing Precious Moments Through the Years

I first had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family three years ago when grandma reached out to me with a special request — an extended family session to celebrate Austin’s very first Christmas. The excitement was palpable, and we had an absolute blast during that session! We connected so well, and the energy was just contagious. You can see more from that initial shoot in my previous blog post. It was such a memorable day, and I’m so grateful that I had the honor of capturing their Parkland family photos!

From Christmas to Cake Smashes: A Growing Family

A year later, I had the privilege of photographing Austin’s first birthday — and what a session that was! A fun-filled cake smash to celebrate his big milestone. The joy and mess of that shoot made it one of the most delightful and playful sessions I’ve ever had the chance to photograph. Watching Austin’s personality shine through was truly a joy.

Then came baby number two — Asher! When Asher arrived, we had the most beautiful newborn session that included family and sibling photos. It was heartwarming to see how Austin had grown and how much love this family shared. We captured so many sweet moments between the brothers and their parents — a truly special day that I’ll always cherish.

Fast forward to Asher’s first Christmas — the entire family gathered once again for another magical session. We took full advantage of the gorgeous Parkland landscape, with its lush greenery and natural beauty, to create timeless memories. Austin and Asher are both just so adorable, and the love and connection between them and their family is beyond special. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

I can’t wait for Asher’s upcoming cake smash session! Watching families grow and being able to document those precious milestones is something I truly cherish. It’s an incredible privilege to witness these little ones grow up and see the bonds within their families strengthen over the years.
