Just Wow!
What an amazing time I had being a Parkland family photographer for this crew! I got a call this past fall from Grandma who wanted to do something special for her family. She was looking to schedule an extended family session in honor of her grandson’s first Christmas. Many of you know I do not typically photograph extended families. Instead I enjoy focusing on individual family groups as it fits in better with my lifestyle approach to photography. However, grandma just totally won me over. She loved the idea of having fun during our Parkland photo shoot and was totally up for my non standard portraiture. So we were on!
During my time planning our Parkland photo session I learned that they had created a unique care system for their little man, Austin. Both sets of grandparents (who live out of town) switch off staying with Austin’s family helping them with childcare. How amazingly awesome is that?! We planned the timing of the Parkland family photo shoot for when both sets of grandparents as well as Austin’s aunt would be in town for Christmas.
A Stunning Evening:
We had the most amazing evening for our photo shoot in Parkland. The air was slightly crisp and the sun set just perfectly behind us, casting a beautiful golden glow on all the images. Austin is simply adorable and so absolutely loved by all. I have so many favorite images from this session. One is for sure the photo of Austin looking straight at me while his relatives look so lovingly at him. Baby Austin sticking his tongue out at me is another favorite, lol. And in so many of them I love the loving look mom and dad are giving one another. I was able to capture so many beautiful photos and this Parkland family photographer was so happy!
Post Session:
Because the entire family was only in town for a short while I fast tracked the editing of their images. I wanted to make sure everyone would be in town for the big reveal. When they came to my Boca Raton photo studio to see their images there were many tears of happiness and smiles of joy as they watched the slideshow of images I put together for them. I helped them each choose their favorite images and products. Everyone fell in love with something else and it was so much fun to put together their order. Grandma one chose a beautiful bamboo memory box with an image cover and 20 matted prints. Grandma two loved the 30×40 canvas collage. Austin’s Aunt chose some a beautiful metal image for her home. Mom and Dad went with a 30×40 acrylic collage, prints, and some circle wood blocks.
