Pat the Bunny:
What a treat it was for this Fort Lauderdale newborn photographer to photograph Sweet Madeline Grace! She is the great-great granddaughter of Dorothy Kunhardt, author of Pat the Bunny. This book brings back so many wonderful memories of both my childhood and nighttime stories with my own children. I have always loved this book!
Typically I tell my clients not to bring along anything other than the newborn baby. My Boca Raton photography studio is full of absolutely everything that is needed. I have all the props, materials, hats, headbands and anything else we may possibly need. However, in the case of sweet Madeline’s newborn photo shoot I thought it would be a great idea to incorporate the family legacy. Mom and Dad brought along the famous book along with a stuffed Pat the Bunny! Scroll through the photos from this baby photoshoot to see how I used them in the studio. Mom and Dad loved how they came out!
Setting up the Boca Raton portrait studio:
Before a newborn photography session I always speak with the parents to see what colors they would like to see me use during their newborn photoshoot. Some parents don’t really have an opinion and want me to get creative, while some are trying to match the nursery or home decor. For this studio photo shoot Mom wanted neutrals. Simple clean colors. And so I obliged, and I love how it all came together.
Here is another studio newborn shoot using neutrals, I love all the sibling and newborn photos in this shoot. Looking to see more neutral newborn photos check out this blog post here. Just in case you can’t get enough there are always cute babies on my Instagram feed. Check it out here.
I’d love to be your family’s Fort Lauderdale newborn photographer. Contact me for more info. Looking forward to speaking with you!
