Meet the amazing Mindala family. I have known this family for years now and have previously photographed these cuties when they were younger. I am so honored to be their Fort Lauderdale family photographer once again. Check out their previous family photo shoot here. I was super excited when mom reached out and wanted to set up another family photography session, this time in their backyard. Having worked with them before I know this was going to be a super fun family photo shoot in Fort Lauderdale.

The day of our family photo shoot arrives:

We had the most fabulous weather for our photo session. My arrival at their home was about an hour before sunset. After a quick look around the beautiful backyard we were off to the races. I was super excited to be able to include Chica, their puppy into our photo shoot. I am often asked if a beloved family pet can be included in photography sessions. It really all depends on the location and family dynamics, but when it works out having a family photo shoot with a dog is really great fun.

Ok so this is a hard one. When you have a family as good looking as these guys and a family that is super interested in having a good time, narrowing down favorites is bound to be hard. But I shall try. I love the photo of the family running towards me while holding hands. Each one of them has expressions of sheer joy, we really were having the best time! Another photo I love is everyone snuggling adorable Chica in front of the pool. Another favorite image from this Fort Lauderdale family photo shoot is of the siblings. These two were so sweet with one another. All in all, I think if you scroll through these images you’ll have no problem seeing just how much fun we all had.

Choosing art:

Once I had edited all the images we met again so they could choose the products that they’d love to purchase. I created a beautiful custom wall for their home with my line of one of a kind frames and gorgeous heirloom prints. They also chose a beautiful leather bound heirloom album that uniquely showcases the story of this family’s Fort Lauderdale photo session. I know they are going to enjoy having these art pieces in their home for always.
