Best Delray Beach family photo shoot:
I always strive to be the very best Delray Beach family photographer. It is all you amazing families that make my job so much fun! I have been photographing the wonderful Lawson family since their eldest was 7 months old. Take a look at Cameron’s adorable little sitter baby photo shoot here. Mom was also featured in a momtrepreneaur blog post I did which included images from their previous family photo shoot in Delray Beach. When their prince arrived we did a beautiful newborn photo shoot in my Boca Raton baby photography studio. I was honored once again to capture another little sitter baby photography session for Luke, he’s such a cutie!
I cannot get over how quickly these ‘babies’ have grown! Boy does time fly fast. This was one of the things mom mentioned when we discussed scheduling this family photo shoot. She mentioned a few stressful things happening in her life currently but knew she needed to make time to capture some memories as the kids were just growing so fast. She wanted to make sure this moment in time was captured forever. I was more than honored to be the one to photograph her precious family.
A perfect evening for getting the best photos:
I mean seriously the air was crisp and that Sun! The sunset hour is the only time of day I shoot outside. I am always looking to place my families in spots were the sun will create the most beautiful backlit color popping photos. If you look through the images from this session you will see exactly what I mean. Choosing a photographer that understands the placement of their subjects is key to getting amazing results such as the ones you see in the photos below.
Let’s chat for a minute about the outfits. Mom did a great job pulling together the color tones for this ‘fall’ session. When my clients book their photography session with me I always stress the importance of finding the right outfits; it is always best to be coordinated without everyone matching exactly. I make sure my clients know that I am available to discuss outfit choices and help them along with this process. The color scheme for this session was just perfect! I keep a stack of vintage quilts in my car; the crazy patch quilt we chose to use was perfect to add some fun color pop to our photos.
Can I actually narrow down any favorite images from this photo shoot?:
Ummm that is going to be a really hard one. I mean these guys are the best! If you made me choose I would have to say the two sibling shots where Luke is looking so lovingly at his big sister. Those would be some of my faves. I also love all the images of the kids moving and in action. I mean just look at those smiles, that’s the real thing! The whole family lying on the ground, I love those. The hot cocoa photos, the mom and kiddo shots, dad and kiddo…. oh it’s all of them! LOL.
Post photo shoot:
Once I had completed editing their images, it was time for the big reveal! Mom and Dad returned to my Boca Raton photography studio to see their edited photos. At this time I helped them figure out what they wanted to do with the images and what worked best for the space they had in their home. They chose a custom 30×40 cottage frame for one of their favorite images. Mom and dad also picked a 16×20 canvas of another favorite image and 10 gift size prints. I know they are going to love having these images in their home and enjoying them forever. Thank you Lawson family for making it easy to be the best Delray Beach family photographer for this photo shoot.
