Planning a Delray Beach cake smash:

When planning out a Delray Beach cake smash I am always in close contact with my clients. If they need help with choosing a theme or outfit I am excited to give them suggestions. Everly’s mom knew what she wanted. She wanted Everly’s cake smash session to match her pink Winter One-derland birthday party theme. Oh I was excited. I love when I can get creative with a photo shoot. Prior to our cake smash photo shoot I made a bunch of large paper snowflakes. I glued them to a pink paper backdrop and tada we had ourselves a pink winter One-derland! All of my cake smash studio photo shoots include a customized cake. These cakes are made by an amazing baker and delivered to my studio on the day of the session.

My Boca Raton studio cake smash sessions always include some pre-smash photos. For Everly’s pre-smash photos I set up a super sweet floral backdrop to match the pink dress mom had for her. Oh she just looks heavenly with all those roses about. Her smile was so contagious! We quickly moved onto the studio cake smash complete with custom cake. I can’t say that Everly loved her cake, but we did get tons of adorable shots. Mom and dad also got a kick out of the photos where Everly was a bit upset by the icing on her hands and feet. We finished up our Delray Beach cake smash shoot with a bubble bath. This is a great way to get some fun photos while taking home a clean baby, win win!
