Boca Raton Cake Smash {happy birthday Austin}

Safari themed cake smash in Boca Raton:

Oh how I loved this Boca Raton cake smash! First off, baby Austin is just adorable and he loved every part of his first birthday cake smash photo shoot! Second of all, Austin’s mom and dad are such a fun bunch to work with. I was lucky enough to photograph this crew previously when we captured Austin’s first Christmas with a beautiful family photo shoot. I loved being their Parkland family photographer! The theme Austin’s parents chose to do for his cake smash was just perfect. The little guy’s nursery is Safari themed and they wanted to tie his cake smash into that theme. I absolutely loved that idea and had a great time setting up the Boca Raton photography studio for this photo shoot.

Once I knew that mom and dad wanted a safari themed cake smash I put my creative boots on and got to work. I always start off a cake smash session with a few non cake baby portraits. This super cute camping tent prop was just perfect for these baby photos. I asked mom and dad to bring along some of Austin’s animal ‘friends’ to personalize this set up. Mom and Dad loved how these photos came out! Next I focused on the actual cake smash photo shoot set up. I went hunting for just the right safari backdrop to tie everything together.

I think everyone’s favorite part of this Boca Raton cake smash was the bubble bath! We finished up this studio photo shoot with a bubble bath, getting the most adorable photos plus Austin went home clean! Just check out the smile on this little man. Happy birthday Austin!
